My name is Oscar Feria. I’m the youngest of 10 siblings. My family migrated from Mexico in 1973. I went back to Ensenada Baja Mexico in 1987 when I was 9 years old and completed my primary education. I came back to Los Angeles in the mid 1990’s, I worked for a fortune 100 company in Financial Services for over 15 years before joining my amazing State Farm family in 2014. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix and have completed multiple executive programs both domestic and abroad. My wife of 23 years, Rocio, and I have 3 children: Alondra 21, Oscar Jr 16, and Isaac 10. I’m passionate about many things; my faith, my family, my friends, and cars; in that order. My passion for cars has enabled me to bring about inclusivity and support throughout my community.
Helping my community thrive was the driving force in me becoming a State Farm agent. As a migrant family, we had to assimilate to our new home. Insurance services are not mandatory in most Latin American countries, my desire has and will always continue to be “educating” my Spanish speaking community. My wish is to be the most well-known, recognized, and respected Insurance Agent in my community. Our community is our family, everything starts here. Being part of this wonderful tri-city area of La Puente, West Covina, and Walnut has allowed us to serve a diverse community base. I’ve been blessed to work closely with the Rowland Unified School district in multiple capacities. Giving back to our community and families in need is crucial for a well-balanced business, my agency has donated over 150 full Thanksgiving Dinner supplies to local families in need. It’s a blessing to “pay it forward” every time we are able. Sponsoring luncheons for our local Sheriff Department has been another way in which we give back to our first responders; we appreciate what they do day in and day out to keep our community safe. I realize people have many options. Being able to help our community both in-person and digitally is key to the remarkable service for our valued family.
